Scripture Reference:
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. Genesis 2:24
True unity occurs when both sides give everything to the other. They must leave behind the past and give their lives to the one standing before them. Unity is no longer seeing two, but one—one purpose, one hope, one future, one direction.
Couples need to understand this unity, but churches do too. There’s a reason Jesus called the church a bride.
Director’s Tip: Decorate the stage as much as you want to look like a real wedding is about to take place. Let your real pastor “sell” it or have an actor come out that is one of your pastors.
