“Cursed is the man who dishonors his father or his mother.” Deuteronomy 27:16
Parents aren’t perfect. They all make mistakes, but no where in the Bible is there a command to set them straight, to remind them of their mistakes, to correct them when they are wrong.
Every command tells us to love our parents and honor them.
There is much we want to say to our parents now that we’re grown up, but the best thing is to love them, unconditionally…as they loved us.
THEMES:
PARENTING, MOTHERHOOD, FORGIVENESS
