Troy Schmidt Troy Schmidt began writing animation in Los Angeles in 1985 (Dennis the Menace, Heathcliff, Flintstone Kids). In 1992, he moved to Orlando to write for The Mickey Mouse Club, working on staff for three seasons. He wrote comedy sketches for the likes of Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling, Keri Russell and other young singers and actors.   Troy’s credits include Disney, Nickelodeon, Hard Rock and Tommy Nelson. He has written for Regis Philbin, Wayne Brady, D.L. Hughley, Ed McMahon, and others. Most recently he adapted a Max Lucado children’s book, Hermie The Common Caterpillar, into a video, then created and wrote future video installments and children's books. The series involved the talents of Tim Conway, Don Knotts, Vicki Lawrence, Third Day, Max Lucado and Judge Reinhold. He is also a Pastor, sharing the speaking duties at First Baptist Church of Windermere.
